Canteen ($1,500, 12 capacity) and Bucket ($6,000, 20 capacity) rank B-tier and A-tier respectively. Bucket matters for Drought badge runs and long gem routes; Canteen is the comfortable mid-game scoop upgrade.

Mid-game Ice Tycoon 2 spending shifts toward Conveyor Expander, Ice Upgrader, Saw, and the mine ore line. Fund Gem 3–5 routes during the same map pass — castle mountain well (Gem 5) needs Heat Crystal Lvl 2+ for -20° zones.
Repair the Abandoned Factory for the Up and Running badge once Cash income is stable. The portal inside awards the badge on first entry — separate from gem hunting but often done in the same session as Gem 3 (secret rain zone).
